Positive Deposits Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that creates a safe and positive space to enhance the survivorship experience for cancer survivors and caregivers.

Our Mission

We do this by building community, providing access to comprehensive resources and normalizing the cancer journey.

COVID SUPPORT

Provided over 250 PPE masks to the HU Cancer Center

MEAL DELIVERY PROGRAM

Partnered with local business Cinder BBQ to donate meals to cancer patients and staff at HU Cancer Center

VIRTUAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS GAME NIGHT

We provide a night full of fun and relaxation for breast cancer survivors with games and fellowship. We also give out care packages to the survivors to help with survivorship.

SURVIVORSHIP BOOT CAMP

We will providing cancer survivors a fitness experience with trainers, equipment and classes to promote health & wellness (Coming Soon)

LIVE COOKING CLASS EXPERIENCE

We will feature a live demonstration from a select chef monthly to promote healthy recipes for survivorship and provide all participants the ingredients to create the meals. (Coming Soon)

ADVOCACY & EMPOWERMENT

Positive Deposits Podcast: This show allows cancer survivors, caregivers, and specialists to share their journey or experience with cancer. All episodes are featured on our YouTube channel where you can view the live interview. All walks of cancer are welcome, no one is left behind and remember we aim for "Transforming Minds to Change Lives"

POSITIVE PURSUITS 5K

Proceeds from the Positive Pursuits 5K Walk/Run & 20K Ride directly support the Howard University Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE & UGLY SWEATER PARTY

Through our Annual Toy Drive, Positive Deposits unites the community to uplift children and families facing cancer at the NIH Children's Inn.

NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP WITH ORA LEE CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION (FORMER)

We have partnered with the Ora Lee Cancer Research Foundation to help Dr. Hayidah Green bring her ground breaking technology to prevent cancer out of the laboratory into hospitals.
